Beyond exposure, sensitivity and adaptive capacity

Interesting article by Fortini & Shubert (Climatic Change Responses 2017).  At some point, when you work with social-ecological systems you are faced with this three concepts. While the solutions put forward by the authors are only for species management, some interesting ideas can be probably developed for other scales.

Update: After discussion, with the team, it seems the article is quite good in its use of ecological data through Bayesian networks for detecting sensibility of endangered species, if sufficient distributional data and habitat preferences are available. However, it does not deliver the promised independence between exposure and the other aspects as climates models (exposure) are used in a species distribution model (sensitivity). This little detailed escaped the reviewers…
